Sayonara, lanterns~

During the Mid-Autumn Festival which was celebrated about 2 weeks ago, we had 7000 lanterns hanging across the roads and buildings in Sibu forming an extremely long dragon's body. The lanterns were hung starting from Sibu Pagoda until Sibu Gateway. I have actually seen them for several times but didn't have the chance to take pictures because I ended up being distracted all the time. I almost took some snaps of the dragon's head just on the night before the festival but my friends suddenly arrived with a car and drove me to somewhere else for our hangout.

By the time when I was ready to take photos of the lanterns, it was disappointing to find out that some of them were removed already. Sigh.. >_>

I didn't take the photos below but I thought I'd share them.

And here is the full view. Splendid, right?

As me and my aunt drove around town this morning, I could see that only certain parts of the dragon's body left. They don't even turn on the lights during night time. That's too bad.

I took these from the inside of the car.

Oh yeah, next year's celebration might be even more epic 8D
