Total Solar Eclipse [22nd of July 2009]

There will be a total solar eclipse occurring tomorrow and only a partial of it can be seen from Malaysia. I'll be in school by the time it occurs and I'm not sure whether it can be viewed from my current location since only the timing for KL is stated.

Borneo Cultural Festival 2009

The festival I have been waiting for is finally here again! Just like other previous years, I attended it to have fun and to lurk around too today XD

This year's celebration is going to last from the 3rd-10th of July. As usual, it's held at Sibu Times Square. I went there as early as 6:30pm and wow, it was freaking crowded even though the opening ceremony had not begin yet. Plus, it seems like the bad weather didn't affect the celebration at all. Thank god it didn't rain though. Hmm.. I was planning on taking some pictures there but I accidentally left my camera at home that I had to rely on my phone camera in the end -_-

The first area I walked to was obviously the fun fair. I spent most of my time playing there every year anyway XD

















Next, I went to the food stalls and I could see some Malay, Chinese, Ibanese,and Japanese cuisines. There are other delicacies from other ethnicity too.







Woohoo! I found the famous Ferry Kebab there!! Each costs only RM2.50 8D



Then, I lurked around at the other side of the square where I could see performances, competitions and again, food stalls XD
