The Ark Cafe & Gallery

I went out for lunch with my aunt today and we were clueless about what to eat until we saw this place. The design of the building somehow attracted my attention.

We walked into it and wow.. it was such a nice place with peaceful environment and soothing music. There were paintings hung on the walls. No wonder it has the word "Gallery" in its name. The cafe has its second floor as well.

Guess what? I could even see the Rejang River from my seat XD

I bet that place will look even more wonderful at night with all the lighting. The only thing it lacks is free Wi-Fi.

The cafe serves Thai, Korean, Western, and other Asian cuisines, but mostly That food. They are all prepared by a chef from Thailand.

Here are what we had:

Grilled Chicken Chop which looked more like a serving for 2 persons.

Pandan Chicken.

Prawn Popia.

Ice Blended Chocolate.

Chocolate Latte.

Overall, the taste was ok but it wasn't that splendid. If I had to rate, I would give 3 out of 5. The meals were slightly cheaper than that in Cafe Cafe though.

Once we were done with that, we walked outside and looked at the polluted Rejang River which looks like milk tea now. How sad.

It was cloudy when we drove away. I thought it would rain but it didn't. Lol. I managed to take a snapshot of the sky from the inside of the moving car.

Well, I'd rate 5/5 for the environment but not the taste of the food =/

The place cost RM800K to renovate and decor. But the taste of the foods...need a lot of improvement.
